| The Cascade Parka is made out of heavy-duty nylon rip-stop that will let you rip, not stop. It’s shoulders, elbows and seat area are all reinforced with super tough 160 denier Cordura to guard you from the deceptively abrasive snow and the stress from the straps on your back. The jacket is finished with our highly Waterproof/Breathable TH4 microporous coating and a Teflon DWR (Durable Water Repellant). The polyester mesh lining in the upper torso enhances breathability and disperses moisture. The lower arms and torso are lined with slippery nylon taffeta for smooth layering, which compliments the internal zipper for zip-in pieces. Underarm pit-zips and mesh-lined chest pockets keep you cool when pushing the limits. A fully adjustable, form-fitting peripheral vision, detachable, rollaway hood with supportive brim and high collar keeps the spindrift off your neck. Micro-fleece lined chin guard. Interior snow skirt. Two lower micro-fleece handwarmer pockets keep the fingertips toasty. The Cascade Parka also embodies a radio/receiver pocket engineered to handle either a microphone or headset, a two-way main zipper with double exterior storm flaps and rain gutter, and drawcords at the face, hood, waist and hem that can be single-hand adjusted.
